are these any good as ive been offerd one for £50 how easy are they to fit into the ecu? and would it work well with a mantzel style inlet manifold? thanks very much

no!
superchips are mapped according to a default spec engine! to gain 5 or little more bhp
if u want to get the max out of your setup get a RR-remapped chip in your country or take the P&O Ferry to Holland and drive to mantzel in oberhausen (germany) for a mantzel RR-mapped chip

If I had a mantzel powerbox I'd pay £50 for a superchip, just to raise the rev limit.
I'm not sure it there is an actual chip change in these or if the current program is changed?

Of course mappable is a lot better, but thats not £50.

i have re-built quite a few x14/ x16xe engines in my time. the 2 that ive done that had superchip were showing signs of running very rich.
not even worth a tenner in my opinion.
