1. fitting v6 brakes, do i need braided brake cables? if so, why?

2. what's the best way of fitting a splitter to a bumper, rivotting? screws? glue? tigerseal .etc

3. semi-smooth boot.... do i really need to weld it?

Ideally you would want a a car body shop. I can't see a fabrication firm doing it for you!

How does you front one attach to the bumper? Try to fix it on in the same way your front one is fixed? I'd be tempted to screw it on then fill over the screw holes

look in the paper for local welders that come to your house to do the welding and you could do the rest easy

1. You don't need braided hoses, mine are fine without them. A bit more pedal travel, but not spongy. My sponginess is down to fecked rear brake cylinders.
