Looked in the tutorials section can't find one - mate wants to remove his speedo in his B, is there a nice easy guide anywhere to follow to remove it so we can fit the LED's

They're straightforward enough.
From memory:
Remove the plastic shroud from around the steering wheel. 3 screws in bottom, 2 at front of shroud. (Need to turn steering wheel to see them)
Remove the 3 screws holding the shaped plastic that arches round the clocks. Pull it to unclip.
Think there are 3 screws to remove the clocks. Unscrew these and then either unclip the electric block and remove the speedo cable (if it isn't electric)
Bulbs are the 3 biggest in the unit that you need to replace with blue ones.
Refit in reverse order. Make sure all bulbs etc work before you put it back together though.

ive had my dash out, and now back in and my speedo works, but not properly... it seems to 'bounce' between speeds, and necer sits at a constant speed.
what have i done?
