elo help please my 99 1.4 sport wont start.
its not the battery or plugs+ive checked ive got a spark going to each plug so its not the leads or anythink like that.
does everythink it should do+sounds ok but just wont roar in to life.
any reply will be gratefull
fuel problem maybe?

i no ur not mate yes got fuel went the petty station+got £10 worth to make sure it filled the reserve tank.
no not tried ,im on my own at the moment+would b quite difficult lol

no mate starters fine it cranks the engine +all sounds normal but just as if it wont spark but i no ive got sparks there

Tried your foot slightly on the accelerator when starting ?

Also the battery leads , all ok ?

i had tried the accelerator slightly but b4 i planted my foot on it=it just about startede.
lft it running for 30mins then started it agen few times+started ok
any ideas

Was the tank empty when you put £10 worth of fuel in? That might not be enough to fill the swirl pot up so it won't start very easily.

yes mate tank was empty so put £5 in+still didnt start so checked i had a spark+everythink i sed in my previous post.then put another £5 in+kept trying it.
aventually sterted+has started ever since.
