I've put 5 albums on my ipod direct from cd and theres quite alot of distortion on some of the tracks, getting worse if you go past the volume half way mark. Is this normal? Is the sound not that great on them? I've turned Sound Check on to see if the sound improves at all. I've had it a while but this is the first time I've got round to putting anything on it!

Are your using itunes 7?? Cause there is a fix for this. If you are I'll look it up for you or do a search on google for itunes 7 ditortion it on geekforum or something
