Decided to stick my Astra GTE rims on now after they've sat in the garage for 6 months. Not sure what size tyres to go for though!

The ones on the astra were 185/65/14s, I was going to go for either 185s or 195s on 60 profiles. Does that sound right for a Corsa? I think the recommended is 165/60, but obviously something wider is needed!

Many thanks, Matt

60s on a corsa? lots of people would recommend lower wouldn't they? ie 50s possibly 45s depending on how low you are etc, if you're feeling adventurous go for some 40s

I don't want the wheels to look 'odd' in the arches though as they're only small wheels. I think 60s will fill the arches nicely and keep the same outisde rolling diameter as the original wheels. Don't want it to look like a rollerskate as I'm only lowering it 40mm.

185/60 R14 is the size on standard 14" sport and Gsi wheels, so should be fine!

165/65 14 or 185/60 14 will be fine.

Sorted, got the old tyres off them today. Just need to drop them off to be powder coated on Tuesday, pick them up Thursday and then get tyres on.

As for tyres what do you all recon:

Avon ZV3s - £35 a corner.
Falken ZE512s - £29 a corner.
Pirelli P6000...?
