Been told by a few people I need the Cav 1.7TD vaux engine intake pipe. So off I went to vauxhall to order one, he said only the 16v petrol engines come with the hole for the sensor

So im REALLY stuck on what pipe to get!

If anyone has one lieing around please let me know, or let me know what pipes you are running, thanks

This is the pipe supplied by Mantzel. It is the 1.7 TD Cav intake pipe. It does have a hole.

This knob head at vaux is insisting that it hasent got a hole for the sensor, nor did the vaux 1.7TD engine go into the cav

This is really annoying

It's the GM Diesel engine, not the Isuzu one. The Isuzu one doesn't have the hole for the temp sensor.

just either use a standard one and cut a hole in to the right size or get a samco 63 to 60 mm 45 degree bend and cut a hole in that.

its not the end of the world to cut a hole in the pipe, the sensor shoves in as a snug fit if you cut the hole the right size
