here's one for you lot to get stuck into, i have a gsi (c16xe) engine, on saturday i'm getting another head of leeklad, i want to re-build it with a fast cam kit, but also put bigger vales in it which involves grinding out the seat angles,

question is : who can do it for me including supply the cam kit, valves basiclly do the whole job

wont need bigger valves, no gain at all unless you are looking at building a 250bhp + 1.6

which I think you are probably not doing. c16xe standard head is good enough to flow 160+ bhp before any real restriction.

just remove the ruff casting marks, and port out the ports to the size for the gaskets (about 1mm you can do)

leave the valves, good standard

what else are you doing to the engine? cams and modified head are a waste of time unless you are planning new inlet, vernier pulleys, mapping, exhaust, manifold etc....

yeah all that in good time trying to source an inlet now a lad on mig builds replica's of mantzl, a janspeed manifold for my b'day in feb and the pully will be fitted with the cam kit then finally a re-map, what you think do it in that order

the migweb replica inlets are shit, ask escortgti his fell apart

cant fit cam pulleys without aftermarket management either (unless you get dbilas ones) but you will also need a remap to get it all running well
