when i rev my corsa up to about 3 grand it sumtimes stay there and revs even further up without my foot on the throttle then it takes forever to come back down to idle. i have asked a few of my firends a they say it could be somehting to do with air flow sensor, idle control vale and someone said it could be a leaking inlet manifold gasket. its really pissing me off now (p.s i have checked to see if the throttle cable is getting caought on summink.) lol would be grateful for any help

Take out & clean the ICV. Check for air-leaks.

I don't think timing would make it rev up.
I'd imagine ICV.
