got a new gearbox sorted out this week and im thinking of attempting changing it myself.

what is involved in changing the F16 box? and how complicated and time consuming?

Gearbox mount, so need to surport the engine, Drive shafts out, then a few bolts out round the box.

Then you have the speedo and clutch cable. Then the gear selector bit.
Oh i think there's a earth strap on the gearbox, or am i thinking of another car?

Steve sounds right, the only arse would be lining it back up to the gearbox.
