I have fitted my alpine headunit in my corsa but am having really bad problems with it skipping. Now i know my car is lowered and its more likely to skip but this is terrible. My old Pioneer head unit was fine and all i did was throw that in. This new one skips all the time.

Can anyone give me any help with it? I have had to pack out the cage slightly as it was a bit small for the standard hole in the corsa dash but its still skipping. I have given up and am just using the ipod cable i have for it at the moment.
