my headunit is constantly skipping on bumps and is peessing me off!

is a kenwood KDC-W4031. Im thinking its skipping just as it's cheap (came with the new car).

any good cd player that wont skip? i did have a jvc one with usb port but i wudnt mind something a bit flashy.

My alpine never skipped. Was £280 at the time with motorised face and remote control tho.

yeh i've actually managed to find my jvc - wass 200 when it came out - just tried to get the kenwood out though but its stuck fast to the cage!
cant get it out - lil tricks to get it out?

try gettin at it from the back put ur hand up behind the footwell or take the ash tray out and you can get at it from there to gd luck

no luck!

seriously think it's staying there lol. ive even tried having about 8 knives wedges down the sides to try and get it out and it still doesnt work. think i put it in a bit well.....

the unit -and its out now!

but now my sub wont work cos i havta change some of the wiring and my mate hlped me last time aaaages ago and now ive forgoten

BUGGER - so the old one's in for now gna try sort it out tonight at a meet hahaha.

wiring a sub is a peice of piss mate theres only 2 wires that go into your head unit, the rest should work
