Make seperate playlists on your iTunes...

"Jambo's iPod"

"Gf's iPod"

With the music you want to go to the pod, then just fiddle with the settings and click "only update playlists", then click "jambos ipod".

I've got 3 ipods on my PC but we don't use itunes. I just use floola to update them. Lets you drag and drop songs onto the ipod instead of having to update itunes etc. Its mile better

You can set up a different profile for your GF though and have two sets of the itunes database. Each user profile has its own my music folder with a itunes folder within it. When you update itunes with your music just copy the database files over to your GF's profile in documents and settings and she can update her own ipod from there independent from yours.

Or you can just have seperate playlists as already sugested.

Floola is better though
