yesterday i was driving back to the office and my temp was showing past the red lines, but no light was on, then when i had to stop for some lights my car died, the dash lights were dim and car wouldnt even try and start, but indicators were fine, after a min of saying sorry to everyone behind me the lights were fine, the car would turn over but not start, then it finally did after 3-4 mins.
I also have a misfire at high revs and seems like a flat spot at low revs but is random.
Anyone else had this? its a c16xe engine

Did your rad fan kick in? If not you need a fan switch

there wasnt actually anything wrong with the temperature of the car mate, that kicks in fine plus after it died at the lights it went down to the correct temp and i know it doesnt cool down that quickly, i think it might be something electrical but i wondered if anyone else has had this b4
