Right, Im going to be putting a GSI cam in my C12NZ soon, can it be done with the head still on the engine?
Also, is there anything else I should change/do while the cam is being changed?

head can stay on yeah, but unless you know what your doing id get someone else to do it as you have to get the timing right

Did you manage to find a 1.6 Spi inlet manifold? Its the last thing I need now, cant seem to find one anywhere

yeah vaux lad found me one on ebay  just need to enlarge in another mm and should be reet, need a 1.4 injector though then i can rock n roll

How much did you pay for it? I found a whole unit from a 1.6 (Injector an TB too), but they were wanting £45odd for it, so bugger that!
Did you fit the cam yet, or are you doing it all in a one'r?

i paid 99p with egr and tb and injector none of its fitted yet was going to do it all together also i have a nova sr cam can i might get slightly better gains as it has a bit more lift

I got my 1600 inlet for a tenner.
Altho they seem to be quite rare now,lol.
Yeah you can fit the cam without removing the head, just use a removal tool to compress the valves so you can remove the rockers, and then remove the cam.
