I think I read something on here a while ago sayin that the cat isnt under the car but its up in the manifold or something? Is there any way of shifting it down underneathe to de-cat the exhaust? Maybe by fitting an earlier model exhaust or a x14xe or x16xe exhaust?

no but it would make it sound better.they sound dung with a backbox and an induction kit

it would sound crap with no cat, and really raspy. Just take the middle silencer out.

well then what sort of system would you suggest exhaust wise? i want something that looks good,because right now i just have a 3" peco back box that i got given to me for free and it doesnt sit straight or sound ideal

remus straight through pipe and a nice oval backbox e.g. magnex

see i've been lookin at these remus centre pipes.are they worth the money? i know someone who just got the centre box removed and a bit of pip welded in instead

de-exhaust

remove the manifold and the entire system. Then it will sound better

unfortunately cant afford it right now Adam-D,cheers anyway mate.ive heard a fair few folk lately speakin bout these blueflame exhaust systems.would i be right in sayin ebay stores sell them? as ive' never seen them anywhere else

I have magnex de cat with scorpain exhaust (dtm back box) and mine isnt raspy at all - very deep!
