rite i have a 1400 sport and im goin to put the c16xe head on so im gessing i will need:

c16xe head ported and polished
c16xe head gasket??
and i can use the 1400 cams or 1600 or r they both the same?
any thing eles i should do or have done as i will have the head off?

Im told you use the 1400 gasket?

Might as well replace stem seals, and lap the valves in whilst the heads off.
Yes use a 1400 headgasket.

Grind them back into the valve seats to get a perfect seal.
