Hey all, was just wondering if I will need to change my side repeaters and headlights for MOT which is up soon.

I have dark black side repeaters, and black crystal headlights. I read somewhere someone changed their side repeaters for the MOT, and since the headlights dont give a wide cover like the standard lights, was wondering if they will pass the MOT?

Here is a pic of the car so you can see the lights (if it helps)...

So long as the bulbs in the side-repeaters are ORANGE and you can see the orange when they flash fine then they will be ok, no probs.

Not sure about the headlights though? i dont see why not?

Also; how much did those headlights cost you and how much??

Yeah they are orange Well the headlights dont cover the whole road, makes it harder to see the kerb when there is no street lights.

I payed £35 from a mate =) He payed 85 as far as I know last year.

Headlights failed my MOT lol.

"Your import headlights blind the driver on the other side of the road. We will just put tape on them so they pass"

lol

Failed on emissions aswell, needs a new L***something sensor, which was about 50quid, so all in all not so bad
