can anyone help?
my car seems to idel ok but when im driving then come to a stop dip the clutch and the rev's drop down to like 100rpm then it either comes back to 1000rpm or die's i have cleaned my injector's it seemed to do the trick but within 50miles it's happenig again

Mine was doing this last week, clean the ICV valve, if its focked then replace £55 from Vauxhall and the same from a auto factor.
Do a search on here for ICV and load's of helpful stuff comes up.

Could be worth popping the idle air control valve off and giving it a quick clean to see if its just covered in crud. Maybe clean your throttle body out with some carb cleaner too.

hello mate.... think i has the problem you've just described... and i think its a problem with your clocks, so may need to get a new set. sensor on the back called a vss (vehicle speed sensor)
is yours the 1.4 8v sri? engine c14se? mech driven clocks?

cheers but its defently the engine i think im goin to take the injectors out replace them plus i have a spare throttle body that i have just given a good polish but need to get some gasget's thanks for the advice peeps

ok fair enough, but im sure i have this problem, driving its fine, its just when pulling upto a junction and putting the clutch in, revs drop really (stupidly low) coughs splutters and either picks up to normalish or dies??
if im correct please consider what i said, cos i had this, really annoying for ages, replaced loads of things, spent rather a lot, then it turned out just to be the clocks!!
