Episode on earlier where they built a 51" sub and ran it derictly from the engine via the drive shaft so it was Diesel powered

It blew the sunroof out at 16Hz creating 161 db

Yeah, I watched it just before I left for uni. They should of found a way to do it electronically(sp) though. That would have been so awesome

How did they control changing the frequency down to 16hz?, thats seriously low no wonder the sunroof came out lol

It was driven by a crank arm setup, directly driven by the engine, the frequency was adjusted by the engine revs
