I've got a 1.2 8v corsa B and i'm only getting about 23mpg 
why??
thats a stupid figure, i reco i should be getting about 40 meself....
help please

Its usually down to having to floor the throttle to get it moving/up hills.
I know thats the case with most small engines anyway.
Try a long trip on the motorway, keeping off the throttle and see what its like then.
Also remember, fuel prices are sky high atm, so your getting less for your money

only been driving round the town, no hills what so ever...... :S
and i know the fuels more expensive but that mpg is still having a laugh
