my corsa b keeps steaming up all time but the buttin on the slider below the heater controls has snapped off is it a hard job to replace cos i cant just put another button on it cos the main part has snapped as well,

has it snapped or jumped off the railings; mine jumps off the railings all the time, you just need to take the cover off and with a pair of needle nose pliers should be able to put it back on

no its the acually part that button pushes onto has acually snapped off so theres no way of puttin a nother button back it the whole thin needs replacing just wondered if it was a hard job to do

No not a hard job mate
Just need to remove the centre panel in the dash, take your time and its pretty easy 
oh and colourcode whilst its off, thats what I did when I replaced the bulbs that never worked

yeh my bulbs dont work for my heater controls going to get some to day tho and insides colour coded already if ya mean spray bits was done when i got car.... cheers matey.

Ah well
Stereo out - couple of screws in there
top vents out - Couple of screws in there
Pull off the heater dials
unclip the trim around the slider - couple of screws in there
that should be it off

lol yeh relised today that i needed to do all that so iv buggered it off for now, cos my stereos got shit loads of setting on it and i arnt un plugging all that so leave it for another day and my local scrap yard said i have to buy the whole centre bit with all the heater contorls.
