my c20xe ecu doesnt fit in the place where its suppose to go in the foot well thingy because its too bit.. has any one else had this problem and what did they do?

Yes, it does fit.
Theres a thread that is on the shell of the car. Snap it off. File down. Trim sound deadening.
It does fit.

Wow! I've just been outside trying to squeeze my ECU behind the plastic cover and thought shit, it won't go. Come back in the house for a look on here and a bottle of lager and hey presto here's my answer!
