I have a job at the weekend of changing my mates nova....from the 1.2 8v spi to 1.4 spi.....Any tips?
It will be first engine change and i know its straight forward but....any tips?

driveshafts is the only problem i will have i think

ive never done it before.....but everyone says its simple.....ive been offered quite abit of money to change it...so i cant say no

Look into what you need to do. Plan how to do it.
Make sure you have all the tools needed. Engine crane, axel stands etc.
Take your time. It's easier than you think.

i have the crane..stands....jacks....oil..filter...anti freeze....i think its just the fact that i havent done it before...although i know what to do

I took a 2 litre out of my mates corsa and back in again.
Was sooo simple. You'll have no problem. Just don't forget the gear linkage!
