ill be having my roll cage fitted in 2 weeks....and iv'e been thinking of getting as much crap as possible out of the car to make it lighter......and the carpet looks old and full of shait ......it wont look right

get some really thin MDF an cut it to shape of the back an cover it in acoustic carpet. looks about the baest, or you could do it with cardboard i supose

if i put MDF it will make it heavier!
Its a road rally car.....you have to keep the rear seats in....i just want a new carpet because the old one has seen better days

ohhhhh an thin piece of mdf wouldnt be heavier than the seats. new carpet tho try ebay or somethin or try a steam cleaner?

they have some holes in them and some mud stains etc.....a new black carpet would look much better...if i get some new front seats etc

Scrap yards are your best bet for stuff like that, unless you wanna pay 9 grand off Fleabay
