just cange of water pump and part, the cambelt and tensioners have already been done last week, now got a prob with water pump?

would have thought it would be a similar price to a cambelt change since the work is nearly the same and the pump its self wont be too expensive. Is it leaking?

i believe it is making an awful noise, am popping down the garage tomorrow to have a look before they do the work

yea they will charge you roughly the same as a cam belt because they have to take it off, ive got mine to do on saturday at work when its quiet and an ex vauxhall technician was saying that they would advise the customer to replace at the same time because you will be paying for it all again just to do the water pump

should really get it changed when you had the cam belt done, but its quite easy but i guess you dont work on them often

well i did say to the garage does the water pump need to be changed and they said no so didnt buy one when they did the belts etc.
but they have got it all running now and they now say it needs changing.
o well
