i recently bought a new head unit and after fitting etc if found that my amp only powers up when i select TUNER
if i select CD the amp powers off btw my rem (blue) wire is connected to the loose blue wire that was on the head unit loom plug so im assuming i got it right
any answers or has anyone had these symptoms before and fixed it?

uve connected you remote turn on the the headunits ariel amplifier wire,maybe your headunit doesnt have an rca,hope this helps

yes it does help thanks,
i had to get a rca / line in converter... would connecting my remote wire to the yellow wire cure the problem do you know?

no not the yellow, is ther a blue wire in the ISO cable from head unit to main block? if so cut that and connect it to the head unit side, just make sure you can re join them if all goes to cock

Connect it to the blue/white stripey wire on the headunit (if its there) or just the black wire on the ciggy lighter loom

i ended up doing the cig lighter one as i already connected it to the blue stripey wire and had no luck , thanks for your help everyone
