can i spray my Alternator with wd40 coz its looking drity and got something white over it

the white is just corrosion and nout to worry about, try using a small piece of sand papter rather than wd40

wd 40 spray can get everywhere, ie on the xhaust and result in the smell of burning oil, also can make your fan/auxilary drive belt slip
