I noticed that when I work on my car and have it jacked up it is really smokey on start up and for the first few miles.
I assume its something to do with when its tilted.

Is this normal

Oil isnt overfilled as its at the correct level

if it was to do with it being tilted it would do it if you parked on a hill or on a gutted etc. its more than likley just a bit of condensation due to cold weather

What colour was the smoke? white smoke is normal in this weather on cold start up.

Talking oil burning smoke. Simular to what you get after doing a wet/dry compression test when its got oil in the spark plug holes

Yer only when its been jacked up took a couple of people out in the car yesterday at the meet and it got given a fair amount of stick. Wasnt smokey at all then...........
