whats the thickest oil i should use in an x14xe?

I wouldnt go above a 50 weight oil, something like 10w50 or 15w50

Is it being used on the track or something?

you can get high mileage oil

use normal oil with wynns engine oil additive, it increases the viscousity of the oil and helps reduce engine wear, especially when cold. It's specially designed for older engines.

that's what i thought..

like when xe's tap untill the oil's warmer and it goes thinner to fill the lifters etc

thats true, u cant really win on this one you can get thinner oil to stop tapping , but the use of having thicker oil is for leaky valve seals and worn rings so the oil cant pass as easy,

Nah its a symbol which i cant remember but its to do with the viscosity at a certain temperature

W stands for winter, its how the oil flows when its cold. a 0W40 oil will flow better than a 10W40 oil etc

Then both oils are the same thickness at 100 degrees
