my cars lowered 60mm at the rear and it causes it to send more braking to the rear drums which makes it a bit twitchy, is there a pre made adjuster you can buy or am i gonna have to make myself one to space the spring adjuster thingy out? sure i've seen one somewhere

You can adjust it by loosening the nut off until there is no tension in the spring. Theoretically it should be back to normal then, i still find mine skittish but iv got to live with it lol

You will still have rear brakes. All the spring does is think your car has load so the valve gets pressure applied and therefore applys more pressure for the back brakes.
Iv just slackened mine right off.

I might buy the rear brake set up off a 1.2 that does not have the adjuster and fit it.
You just dont realise how good drums can be.

If I take the spring off, does the valve need to be open or closed?
With the cable tie, is that just to stop it haninging down rather than keep it closed?

Yer just keeps it out the way but puts no pressure on it so it stays open. Which is what you want it to be
