I have bougth a gsi corsa recently that needs a set of piston rings. while the engine was out i was gonna get a bit of work done to the engine but i aint got that big of a budget anyone got any ideas as to what i could do

stick in some ARP cod rod bolts as they are the weak point in the engine. Will be handy if you have cams/tb's mantzel or anything that you want to raise the rev limit on in the future

i'd say

Arp rod bolts,
And head work
And ballance the bottom end.

They will make a nice difference!
