Just had Spax vsx kit fitted to my Corsa sport. Its 50mm drop fixed rate dampers. The front end seems very bouncey.......Like I say bit like one of those nodding dogs you used to see on the parcel shelf. Any ideas whether this is something that can be fixed or is it just a side effect of the stiffness of the springs...... I have the horrible feeling I should have held out and bought the coilovers. Have I just pi**ed away £250 Anyones oppinion would be welcome

When your driving over bumps or on a potholed road the car seems to hit the bump, and when the suspention absorbes the shock it bounces once or twice. If the road is realy ruff you have to fight to keep it in a straight line.
This said on a smooth road/ motorway it feels solid.
I used the old bump stops.......

vsx kits are a bit poo as they use standard damper with lowered springs. should only be used with the 40mm springs really as the poundage of the 50mm spax springs is far too high for the dampers.
also, £250? they are £199 a set brand new in my Spax catalogue.
