I am thinking of getting an 02-04 shape corsa, like a 1.2 sxi at some point , i thought id join this forum to get a general idea about the modifications available for this car.
this car is chain driven i hear it isnt realy for racing but it lasts longer, can anyone tell me what can be done engine wise?
I can do the sound maself bassicly my proffesion engine im about amature on although i have some knowledge. apart from induction kits and sport exhuast what can be done?

Budget dependant really. You can do everything to that in the same way you can any other engine but it will always be dead money and will never be a rocket ship.
Your cheapest option, if retaining that engine and wanting a noticable increase, is nitrous.

Spend your money on decent brakes, suspension and tyres then get it all setup propperly.
It's never gna be fast in a straight line so make it corner fast and stop well

Your not going to get more than the 70bhp odd they have without nitrous or forced induction. As you said, this car isn't made to go fast

i just realy want , the car to jump off quickly, the 96 plate polo i have now wheel spins in second gear wheneva i race, could i get a speed increase in every gear wid the 02 plate corsa? isnt there a high rise double pump carb i could get or something?
