So, got a good, Cat 1 alarm. Got the standard features of interior sensors & it's hooked up to the doors, bonnet & boot.
What is the deal with adding things like proximity sensor and tilt sensor? Proximity sensor meaning it makes a noise when someone walks buy it, and tilt sensor when it's moved?
Is it just a case of finding the alarm module, plugging in the sensors and mounting them somewhere, or is cutting of wires etc required?

on my cheapo alarm i can add sensors by just connecting them to the existing wires
Hmmm, alarm is supposedly due for an 'inspection' so might see whet they charge to do both.
