No, the pre tensioner is what the buckle attaches to, under the seat. That pulls the belt tight. The inertia thingy stops you from moving forward.

Like when you brake you cant pull the belt out. Thats the inertia jibby.

Ahhhhh damn. Should be fine, if it was the rears (like one of mine) i'd say plug them in for the MOT tester

TBH could do that with it anyway

tbh got it booked in at VW so they can have a look at it
