Atm im having problems with emissions on my x16xe, ive tried a new cat, and a new cts.

it currently has a adjustable fpr on, and i dont know what it is set at.

i can get a standard fpr for a tenner off warren.

just wondering would it be worth changing it?

You could buy a pressure gauge and set it up properly, does it have a spare threaded hole for one? You could well be losing power if its not set correctly anyway.

If your lambda sensor is working correctly is will compensate for any change in fuel pressure though, except for at full throttle

well, i don't think it has a threaded hole for a gauge. and i really dont know what it is set to atm.

so would it be worth getting the standard one until i can get the adjustable one set up on the rolling road?

is it an easy job going from the adjustable to the standard, is it just changing over the hoses?

You might need the fitting from the end of the fuel hose if it has been cut off to fit the new regulator but other than that its easy, just need a set of E-torx sockets if the standard retaining bolt has been kept

say the car is overfueling atm, if i put the standard fpr back on, should i expect to lose a bit of performance because of less fuel, or maybe gain because i will now have the right amount of fuel?
