took the car to a garage today,
he reckoned it was a faulting crank sensor that is causing my car a flat spot at low revs and bringing up the engine management light
any1 agree? had same problem?

I have to say a flat spot doesnt sound like a crank sensor fault at all, generally they either read the RPM or they dont. If they get it wrong you get massive flames from the exhaust and big misfires/backfires.
Did he do a test with the engine running or just with the ignition on?

Did he have it on proper engine diagnostics or did he just do the paperclip test? The crank sensor always flashes up an error code if you do the test with the engine not runniung, thats why I asked
