Bolts, remove them. You should be able to see them ok.

its attatched to the throttle body and there is no way to get to them without the engine out

just pull it,
there's a rubber hose inbetween the upper inlet and the throttle body

Spot on with the first part.

The Haynes manual said to work from underneath but you cannot see or access it. I had to work with various extensions, flexi's, downsizers etc and female star keys to get it off whilst working from the top. It can be done with the engine in situ, I had it down to an hour at one point.

If you pull it you will break it, thats why they are like hens teeth. Don't confuse it with an X16XE which is a lot easier.

had another go just got 1 bolt on the throttle body to undo the left bottom 1. its a ball ache lol somebody whats fitted a powerbox should be able to tell me how to do it

my one had small cuts at the end of the thread end so I used a small screwdriver to reverse it out
