Hi folks.
Got a redtop corsa that had an error code showing as 02 sensor, Checked the wires and found that one had been cut to the o2 sensor, so connected it back up and the error code went away, no light on dashboard.... perfect i thought.
Until....... Now sometimes when i switch the car off it runs on, it gos to shut off then kinda fires back up again then dies.
Any ideas why it would be doing this since the o2 sensor was connected back up properly

disconnect it, so it was like it was before, and see if it still does it then..
if so, something may be shorting it probably to do with lambda etc etc

Dissconected and it stops the run on after the ignition is turned off..... but the downside is the engine man now comes on.
Why would the o2 sensor cause the engine to sometimes run on after turning it off?

could be a Faulty sensor, or a wiring problem in the loom to do with the sensor
