started taking the c20xe apart the other day
only done a little so progress will be slow with 2 kids

as far as i know engine is from an astra gte

first pic shows TB(left) and ?????????? this was inbetween TB and inlet


this part was connected to the part in top of next pic - what is the top part ??


also in above pic is the bottom item the idle air control valve ?

also where can i get a new one of these pipes ( the hard plastic 1) - see below

appears to be a vac controlled idle control valve

think the extra bits you have are for cruise control

ok - so do i need shorter bolt/threaded bar things ?

where did the vac tubes from it go to before?

2 small vac tubes at front = 1 to fuel pressure reg , 1 to some little box (connected to inlet with bracket) near battery side of inlet

shiney black tube at side was to small breather on rocker cover
matt black to coolant on inlet if i remember
and red went to small connection on coolant bottle if i remember

hmm i wonder if the actual throttle body itself is different then and the vacuum pipes are moved down.

In which case you might be better off finding a different tb or keeping the adapter but maybe take the butterfly out?

yeh i was thinking that
cheaper/easier option is remove butterfly and keep it all there

but i'l keep my eye out for new TB or even new inlet too
