i've recently drilled my air box and put a k&n air filter in. since i have put the new filter in if i leave my car for a long period of time like overnight when i go to start it it struggles to start , and sometimes wont start first time!
also when i pull off from stationary it often lags, when i put my foot down it moves off and then lags for half a second or so and then accelerates again. any ideas why its doing this and how i can sort it out?

What engine do you have? I'm guessing that you have a Corsa (you may lol, but nowadays you never know).
I've done that to my Corsa and had no problems at all. It may be something else that has happened at the same time that has caused these problems.

yeah got a corsa lol it's a 1.2 its settled down a bit now but still has the lagging problem every now and then

It's not a 1.2 16v is it?
If so, new sensor time!!

yeah its a 16v...really a new sensor?!
would it help giving it a clean and then seeing if its any better? new sensors are bout £300 arent they?
