Im planning on buying an engine for my car, it comes with everything need to convert. But im a bit worried about the key and transponder unit as it wont come with the engine. Can i use my original key and transponder with the new engine and ecu setup??

you will need ecu, chip and tronsponder from the same vehicle

Unless of course you can run your existing ecu with your new engine, for example if you have a 1.4 16v(x14xe) and your getting a 1.6 16v(x16xe) you can run your 1.4 ecu on a 1.6 engine with no problems at all. I have tried this and ran about for years with it. Maps are the same on both ECUs
