Okay folks looking for a bit off advice with the following , recently bought a bonnet scoop from ebay, the scoop is made from fibre glass and is finsihed in a top gel coat. so okay have read up on the proces off applying primer and then the actual paint finsih to the fibreglass but what I am slightly confused with is exactly how you go about getting the surface off the scoop to lye flat with the surface off the bonnet ??
the bonnet scoop is just being fitted for cosmettic reasons and as such is just being sat on the actual bonnet rather than actually being cut in etc.
anyone any advice regards getting the scoop to sit correctly on the bonnet ??
cheers,
john
