at the moment i have an ecotec pipe on my xe, will i gain much by fitting a powercap.i have seen claims between 5-10 bhp increase. i doubt it will increase by that much but even if its 3 bhp its still an increase for little money.also what will i need apart from the powercap ??

I was always under the impressoin that an ecotec pipe gave the same gains as a powercap tbh.
I've got a shabby as feck ecotec pipe and that's the only reason I've never got a powercap.
Anyone able to shine some light?

They improve some parts of the rev range, but worsen other parts. As your changing the inlet length, so your changing torque range etc
