if anybody cpuld put in abit of advice would be a great help as i dont really know much bout these engines.
quick lowdown my waterpump seized n snapped the cambelt n bent most the valves on my x14xe on monday and have been offered a c16xe engine from a friend,is there anything to stop me swapping these straight over or will i need to do a few things?
just wondering as mine has aircon and abs
and could i run my 1.4 gearbox on this 1.6?
if you lot could help me out this would be much appeciated

you just need engine and wiring loom. gearbox will fit. you should be able to fit you aircon pump to it as well

just the engine and loom?not too worried about aircon what about abs will that matter or am i just being thick lol

wont even toutch your abs its nothing to do with the engine it built into the wheel hubs. probably best fooking the aircon off really as it sucks up your power

easy swap mate n air con will need removing along with aircon radiator known as the condenser along with all relevant pipes

leave the aircon in place. No need to remove it?
