hello my girlfriends corsa keeps cutting out and the engine management light somtimes comes on
i had a look at it 2day and i saw on the throttle body there was a little plastic sleave blocking off a tube which looked like there should be some sort of pipe on . when i took the cover off it was making a sucking/whistling noise . the sleeve has a hole in it which doesnt look like its meant to be there but then the sleeve doesnt look like its meant to be there either
does any one know if the sleeve should be there and if its covering up a pipe which is on higher spec models or somthing ?

It vaguely sounds like your talking about the tiny vacuum pipe that control the hot/cold induction flap in the airbox..
Get pics up and someone will confirm

agreed. a photograph can tell a thousand words.
there are two thin vacuum pipes running to the throttle.
