As above really.

Is it simply the difference in spring poundage and being -20mm lower? Or do they have different shocks to Merit, LS, GLS models etc as well? I know there aren't any anti-roll gizmos on Sports & SRi's. Is the handling even any different?

i've heard talk of lotus messing with the dampers, but only 5% stiffer i think and like you said 15-20mm lower

probs wouldn't really notice the difference.

my sport still felt awful standard as i was used to uprated dampers and -60mm springs

I'm just thinking whether it's actually worth the hassle of Sport/SRi springs on my GLS

Yeah, I read somewhere also that Lotus tuned or designed the suspension setup.

Don't gsis have rear arb?

My mates sport doesn't look any different to another mates poverty spec corsa height wise so the difference must be tiny.

Height wise may be tiny but 'stiffness' may be better for handling!? I guess that isn't just down to the springs though, dampers as well.

But I can put SRi/Sport springs on and get away with not declaring them on my insurance as they want silly amount to lower it

Well, when I was 19, £1300 extra for -40mm on just springs

No idea now as I'm 21 with 1 NCB etc. Might ring up when I finish Uni. Or I might just put the money towards a new car

Depends honestly what you want, how long do you want to keep the Corsa for? If it's a couple more years it might be worth the change for better handling, if you want rid asap then don't change anything, save for the new car

I commute to Uni in it

tbh, if I get a job I'm currently full time in, it's like 16 miles straight down the motorway, so hardly anything.
