hi guys just need a little help and advice,is it just a matter of taking out the old 1.0L 12v engine/gearbox/suspension and replacing it with the 1.6 16v engine/gearbox/suspension .how much of a change would the wiring need and also any other bits e.g steering radiator etc , i know a lot of you guys are gonna say "just buy 1.6 16v" or "stick a red top in" but my little 12valver is immaculate the paintwork is spot on and i love the colour( satin red i think it is) so please humour me.

The engine wiring loom, ECU, transponder, key chip etc. Plus its going to cost you an arm and a leg to insure.
Better off just selling the 1.0 and buying a 1.6..

look through a few projects and you will see the work involved..its very little actualy
