I think you can install a browser similar to firefox off Cydia.. that may contain flash player.
Best bet is to sign up and ask questions here: http://www.avforums.com/forums/iphone-discussions
There's lots of info and FAQ's

Flash isnt yet available.
I've personally not found it much of a problem, except my favourite sites like youporn dont work 
I believe they are working a version for the iphone.
I've heard about the other browser that may support it, but I've also heard about it ruining the phone, so for how much im actually going to need it, im not bothering with it.

Something I found out today (possibly old news by now though).. Yahoo mail are offering FREE push email, compabtible with the iphone
Much better than using manual scheduled retrieval from other mail accounts.
